    In my opinion..

The bass fishing is BETTER... I have fished Missy a number of times this year and caught numbers of bass. The place is LOADED with smaller bass in the 12-13 inch category.

You can catch bass using crankbaits, jigs and topwater early but getting the 14" bass to hit is almost a matter of a "lucky cast.." Each outing this year, I have put well over 30 total bass in the boat but was lucky to come up with 1 or 2 keepers. This can be frustrating but at least you are catching fish..

The water has been rather stained and the wind can be a MAJOR factor but the bass ARE THERE... GOOD LUCK and if you get close to the Red Bridge Marina.. DON'T FISH INSIDE OF THE BOUY MARKERS... The owner is a real HORSE'S A$$ and has "friends in HIGH PLACES" ..(like the DNR) They patrol that area and it is OFF LIMITS to fishing and they WILL issue citations..

    Thanks Bud,
If it is dry Saturday,,, I'll post my report. (Tired of ducking lighting when I'm fishing)
The guy at Red bridge got on me about 4 years ago So I stay real clear of that area.
    Thanks for the info.

I know he feeling about ducking the lightning and hanging on in the wind... Sure would be nice to have pleasant weather for fishing...

I am headed for Muskegon, Michigan Friday morning for a 2 day club bass tournament. Hope the weather there is better than it has been around here.. It HAS to get better sooner or later...

    GOOD FISHING....
