I plan on going on the river this weekend out of cox park woundering if anyone knows of any patterns or what they are hittin on thanks.

ive been doing very well on the river with topwater and lizards.. very well... in the creeks. have had solid limits the last two weekends.

What about the main river? Are they mostly in the creeks this time of year?

My buddy and I have been doing extremely well on Kentucks at the heads and tails of islands. We have caught a few in the 4lb range but most of them go about 2-3lbs. No I'm not lying!! We were using SR-5 Rapala's and pumpkin seed worms with tails dipped in garlic /chartruse. They have been full of eggs. Go figure!! I thought the spawn was over.
