checking my credit card balance, and discovered that i could afford to buy a good guy some awesome birthday gifts. And with the points and other offers, bought him some cool stuff. I think a 100 bucks worth of stuff is a good present, it will be here saturday.

I pay cash all the time and I still get the points(on receipt) and I've been going there since the day BPS opened. When you get over $10.00 in points you can and need to use them up.

Thanks! I'll be watching my mailbox

When I went to buy my fish finder the other day, I had like 8 bucks and change worth of BPS points. I needed a few other things, which I knew would put me over $10, so I got them first and checked out, then I checked out a second time using those points toward the fish finder. Other times, I might just let them build up until I can get something using nothing but points. It's all just a game...

In the past, if you did not use them in a certian amount of time, they would expire. is this still true? I have probably lost all that i had accumulated since the last time i used mine.

I never get "dusty" points, maybe thats why my tackle shed is over filled.

I have asked the girls when I check out and a few of them have told me that they never expire. Ryan.

    Re: BPS reward points

That is right. They never expire, but when you get $10 worth they will take the points off of your account and send you a coupon. They said they are trying to help people remember they have the points and get customers to spend them in their store. You can call them and ask them to not do this to your account and let your points keep accumulating. I let mine get up to $50 + before I use them.

    Re: BPS reward points

It's a confusing rewards program (obviously). I'm pretty sure the points do expire, but only after a fairly long period of inactivity on the account. And "activity" means anything that changes your point total, so even buying something and accumulating a few more points counts as "activity" and resets the clock. And when they send you those $10 "gift cards," those points are still on the account. Those are just reminders, because I guess they like it when you use the points as soon as you get 'em.

I'm not sure this is correct. If you call the BPS rewards # they can give you the correct answer. It might depend upon how you handle your points, again not sure. Unless they changed it in the last year, you have to use your points within a year or you loss them, at least that is how mine is setup. It's kinda like my secret hunting/fishing fund, lol.

Correct. Pretty sure you have to have some activity within a years time frame.
