    Guist Creek or Taylorsville

I will be fishing Sunday with my dad and 6 year son for fathers day. I am debating whether to go to Guist or Taylorsville. Any suggestions? Any suggestions what to throw? I haven't been to Guist since early March and haven't been to T-ville yet this year. Thanks.

I went to Taylorsville last Friday and had a good day. Caught quite a few bluegill, bass and even a few cats on small crankbaits, roadrunners and rooster tails. The largest bass was 3lb caught on a tiny n norman crankbait. This is how I fish when I get burned out tournament fishing. All my fish were caught off the main lake in 2-10 ft of water.

You can catch the bluegill and small catfish one after another at the Ville right now. And everything I'm hearing is the bass are on too. I still hate that place though, lol.
