OK, Shiners.. not shinners...and other things

I am bored stiff up here with no real computer to work on other than this old ME system that is over 8 years old... so I am doing a little venting..
So here goes.. it is Shiners not Shinners.. it is STRIPER no stripper, a stripper takes off clothes...
It is Fishin, not Fishing..
If you catch fish it is Catchin
but normally its fishin.
Dolly Varden, is a fish not Dolly Parton's d a r n the luck.
Rainbow Trout have to be less than 18" in the Kenai to KEEP them, not OVER 18 inches to keep.. same with Dolly's... and no they are not Double D's.
I absolutely hate the fact that every jerk from the Lower 48 wants to come to Alaska and LIE to me.. There are 8 beds in a cabin not 7 I know I COUNTED THEM. NO you can not cancel on the second day of a trip.. cause the wife does not like the low cost cabins. Go to town and rent a room at Best Western without a kitchen and it is $300 a night.. That is why we have the cheapest rates and you could afford to come to Alaska.
Ok, I have vented a bit. Now if I could just get a ride to see that darn Volcano.. oh and if you are interested the Salmon run is about 10 days late due to cold water.. stupid AlGore and Global Warming. We ain't seeing it here.
One day of 70 degree weather and 90 minutes later it was 45 degrees and spittin rain. Coldest summer in Alaska in the last 20 years.

I have 2 questions:

I want to know if the "Rubbing Noses" theory is true. Do they brush their teeth or not and if not, have you converted? If you have converted, we all ask that you brush MANY MANY MANY MANY times before you board the plane to come home (Your wife asks this as well - MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY more times than we do)

On the 45 degree spitting rain days, do you have your FNF rod with you?

Mark, the waters was kinda muddy Fri. but droppin fast the next few day's. Might be able to get to the upper dam by this Fri. Give me a shout. Chuck

No it turned that color on its own from the cold...
Coldest summer in 20 years. 38 degrees on 4th of July.. high today is expected to be 58.. but I have the door open and am watching the camp and it is not too bad with no wind and my flannel lined pants, 2 t-shirts, and my neck gators and hat on...Oh and my coat and a set of foot warmers..
