Fish are being caught............We were there last week and are going back this week........
Caught TONS of small fish, a few that would have kept, and a few in the slot.......
Only a couple browns.

Fishing was poor Thursday morn with all but one guide, and horrible in the afternoon when the cor decided to test a generator for ten hours at 4800 CFS. The river was filthy and unfishable then. BUT you could use the boat ramp to take out.
Sure they're catching fish...but how's that information going to help you? You couldn't catch your grandmother in a 100yrd dash. LOL.
If you can't catch em at Helms then head to the dam and try not to hit a another wader in the head. It'll be tough to find a spot to wade among the crowd, but you can do it. Tell Justin to fan cast...and to be patient. You guys may not catch what we caught the other day right off the bat. We'll have to get out there when the waters up and take you to "catchin'" places on the river. Have a good one Saturday...talk to you Sunday about the fishin.

I've seen you fish and you need more dynamite in your tacklebox.![]()
My son, we'll call him "Skipjack J", and I went down today. We caught 1 at Helms then moved up to the dam. I caught 1 good rainbow that was 'bout 15". We caught 8 rainbows total. Ole Skipjack J caught 8-10 skipjack's. Keep an eye out for "Skipjack J's Guide Service". I think the overcast sky had alot to do with it. Still had a ton of fun and already putting together our next trip.
