I was down there a couple of weeks ago scuba diving and I noticed a lot of healthy green grass, but it seemed a little behind what it normally is for this time. I was in the Trooper Island area.

Does anyone know if they have sprayed some of the grass at Dale to try to kill it? I just got back and a lot of the spots that had huge grass beds were almost gone. Some of the grass looked brown and dying. It looked bad. Has anyone experienced the same thing? Thanks
PS the bite was slow but did manage a few nice fish.

i think the lack of grass has something to do with them holding the water in the lake last year they held the lake back for a long time up until late summer and then started to drop it i noticed that the grass didnt grow till later on in the season and it seems that they are keeping the lake at higher levels this year too... i think they are keeping the lake higher because of the draw down on lake cumberland..... and maybe the grass cant grow as well at the depth they are holding the lake at....
