4 hours in my favorite spot on the ohio saturday..

and i got skunked. dont know if its the warm weather or what, but only had one bite. first time all year i haven't at least caught a couple fish from here. i was fishing the greenup pool. tried everything i could possible thank of!

Hey BW don't feel alone. I fished all night Saturday night from 8 PM tp 7 AM. Never caught a keeper bass all night. Had 9 rods rigged with everything. So much for night fishing in the Markland Pool. No moon, clear skies, saw shooting star. "Life is good".

Seeing the shooting star would have been worth the trip regardless of whether any fish were caught or not...just my own opinion.

It's the dog days I wouldn't expect anyone to be doing any good in the state water temps are just too high.

We had the best evening in a while last night, out of Cox Park. Caught several smallies with the biggest around 3 lbs. and alot of LM with the biggest at 4.5 lbs., best 5 would have been around 15 lbs. It was kinda strange how calm the river was last night but the bass were active as they could be.
