Heading To The New River

Mr Splitshot and I are heading out tomorrow around noon for 3 days of fishing and camping on the New.

Hope to bring back a few pictures of some Big River Smallies...

He lost his pfd the last time we were over at the New River. He bought a cheapie, then found his as we were putting in. Sheesh.

Hopefully they'll have better luck than the last time.

Losing, forgetting things and finding them later is something I'm very good at. One time I was heading to the Cumberland River and I forgot my dag gone tackle box!! I realized it when I was within about 30 miles of the river. I had a lure tied on my one and only rod that I took, so I wasn't completely shut down. I did manage to catch two fish with my one lure! LOL...the sill things we do when all excited about hitting the water!
