1oz BIG Single Colorado Spinnerbait in Black and Anything during the new moon and that "Other Special Color" that I use during the Full Moon. If there is a more violent strike than a Smallmouth hitting this bait, then I want to find it and fish it as well. Had 2lb Smallies rip the blade off plus caught my rod and reel in mid air after one busted it and ripped it out of my hands. Best strike for a subsurface bait that you can find, just my opinion.

The more pressured lakes a dark colored senko at night seems to do the trick for me. Takes patience but pays off.

For Bass .... "worm fishin" -- that'd be a 4" Gene Larew Craw, WM seed/Orange claws
For Bass .... "crankin" -- that'd be a Luhr Jensen Hot Lips (Crystal Hot Texas)

For Crappie ... give me a live Silverside minnow (1st choice) ... live small shad <3" long (2nd choice) ... fathead minnow of around 2.5" long (3rd choice) ... and in "artificials", I'll take a 1/32oz all Chartreuse Marabou Roadrunner.

They may be "old school" ... but they still work for me .... LOL !!!
