I've got a kayak and am looking to try the KY river (again - never had much luck). I was wondering if there were a place to access in Jessamine county or nearby that's not far below a lock so that I do not have to paddle too far.

I've put in at Highbridge and under HWY 27, but would like to get closer to the lower side of a lock.
