Anyone doing any good around the Meldahl dam this past week? Planning on going this Thursday evening. Will be fishing for hybrids, whitebass, sauger, whatever will bite. Anyone have a report?
Thanks,
Bassky

Can't get out in the morning, maybe right at dark they will move shallow. If the bait is poppin, should be able to sore mouth a few.

Got out last nite in my friend's boat. Here is my tally. 3 bass, 2 keeper lm, 1 smallie. 2 white bass 1-10", 1-13". 5 small sauger. 1- 20" gar, 3 channel cats, and 2 drum around 3-4 lbers. Fish were caught on inline spinners, crankbaits, curlytail grubs, and jerkbaits. There were no baitfish or blowups anywhere in and around the dam. No current, water had 2-3 clarity. Don't have a water temp. Best fishing was right at dusk.
