I went Saturday, saw a doe with two fawns come through that I passed on, saw another doe with a pair of fawns who turned off a side trail and skirted the thicket. Then had a soliatary doe heading right my way at about 9:15 a.m. If she walks another 40 yards I am eating backstraps, instead she turns and drops over the ridge and straight toward the river bottom. Funny thing is, she didn't act spooked, she turned and walked but there is no trail there. Very odd behavior, but oh well.
How did anybody else do?
