Summit Lake

Anyone been doing any good at Summit.(Bass)-- Not sure what the water temps are and if there is anything new going on out there, it has been 2+ years since I have fished that body of water. Any info from locals or avid fisherman would be great. (not looking for "honey holes", just looking for some lure colors/depth etc.)

Well, they treated the lake this spring so there isn't a whole lotta grass anymore. Fish are relating to wood.

Fishing has been tough. I hate that they killed off the weeds.

Does anyone know if they are still fishing weekly (Saturday or Sunday) tournaments at Summitt? Can you provide me with the day/time/entry fee/etc.? Also, how much longer will the Ts last?

I believe Sat @5pm-9pm. You gotta be at the bait shop by 4:45. I'm not sure if they are still having it, the number of participants probably have dropped by now. You can call the bait shop and find out for sure if they're still on.
