cat from the river today! look what came out of his throat

caught this blue today probably weighed 20 - 25 pounds i dont have a scale im my boat. after in the net a 10-12 inch half eaten tore up channel cat. that is all we caught today other than a ton of shad very slow

I have always heard to catch some big cats you can use small cats like that.They say they love them.Good catch!

im not sure and that is possible. there was no head on the small cat in his mouth and the only way i knew it was a cat was the skin on the tail and some on the back bone. i guess it was possible that the headless cat was floating by at the same time he ran off with the bait i had but it just seemed weird. maybe one of the bank fiherman had that on as bait and lost that fish before i caught it. i believe i saved that fishes life when i pulled that out of his mouth he seemed to be choked on it it kinda turned sidways and some boes were digging and caught on the roof of his mouth.

Good job on saving that cats life.You know one time in the past i saved some one by pulling a bone out of there throat.Was the greatest feeling ever.

Ive done studies on flatheads and their primary stomach contents were bullhead catfish! We even dound two with squirrels in their stomachs...talk about aweird feeling!

last fall I caught a blue that wt 65 pds when my uncle and i was cleaning the fish we found a 2 1/2 FT gar I still dont see how it ate such a large fish and a gar at that.

havent caught a fish with anything like that in its mouth, always heard of it. My brother had a bottle nose dolphin hit a red snapper he was reeling in once... that was a mess! But I will tell you its amazing how many kernals of corn you will find in a trouts belly. Theives they are!
