    Looking Ahead Bama-V-Gators

    Alright boys I'm not a huge fan of either one, but it looks like this one wil decide the National title. It shouldn't but it probably will, I mean why couldn't Boise give either of them a heck of a game if not beat'em, anyway I digress.
    My prediction is Florida beats the Crimson Tide like a rented government mule.
    It's gonna get ugly, Tebow is just too much for the Tide to handle.

    Not talking smack I just think Florida is mighty tough, and despite Bama's stingy defense they get spanked.

    I am right there with you, Mark. I couldn't have said it better. I am not a fan of either, but I still enjoy watching Tebow pick apart Defenses. He is like a full back, half back and QB all in one and is the size of most linebackers. I think they can handle any team on most days.

    According to the media this game has already been played. I think Florida will win, but I would love for Alabama to stomp a mudhole in the Gators. They get no respect.

    Ya know you are right but when you fall off of the hill as far as they did you have to earn your way back. Maybe not right but that's just the way it is.

    I wouldnt count Bama out just yet. I will admit that UF is playing better then anyone in the country right now but they havnt really played against a stout defense like Alabama has. Its going to be a great game no matter what. On one side you have old school smash mouth football in Bama and new school technical football in UF.

    Being a Bama fan and also a person that needs a good excuse for a trip to Miami to do some fishing for exotics down there, I hope bama wins!

    On an interesting side note, I was in B'ham over the weekend and after the ironbowl I hit up a club downtown and guess who walks in....Sir Charles Barkley! I was with my cousin his is a Sheriff down there so we got to meet him and for some reason he got liking our group and chilled with us all night hooking us up with drinks and what not! It was pretty cool. I told him he was a nice fella even if he did come from Auburn.

    I think 12-0 in the SEC should garner some respect whether it's Alabama, Vandy, or even UK. Bama has been down and I can see where some might think they are a fraud but I'd rather see Bama prove they're a fraud on the field first. They beat Clemson and Georgia early which might have catapulted them too quickly but they've beat everybody on the schedule.

    I'm hoping it's like the early 90's when they played Miami for the title and no one gave them a chance. They smoked the canes - that was the last time they won it.

    I expected nothing less from Barkley - he's not a role model for children, but a cool dude to hang out with if given the chance. Sounded like a good time.

    ~~~~~~~
    ROLL TIDE! I couldn't help myself, that just happens when someone mentions my old college.
    Auburn thought they were playing on Sunday and arrived a day late for the game. lol
    Big Al needs some new gator skin shoes for Christmas so watch out for naked gators after the game.
    Now I just knew there was somthing special about you and I was right!
    It was my first time back in Bama for the Ironbowl since I moved away 7 years ago and these people here in KY just think the UKvsUL rivalry is something...not even close.
    I'm a Gator fan fer' sure! I think Bama will play well but I do think UF will win. I also think they will go on to be the national champs.
    I think UF will win easy. But I hope to see a good game. I wish there was a 4 or 6 game play off.
    Re: Looking Ahead Bama-V-Gators
    I've doubted Bama all year, especially after they narrowly escaping getting beat by a crappy team called KENTUCKY on their home field. But, they keep proving me wrong by winning. They're on a mission.
    Florida is like a Category 7 hurricane destroying everything in its path right now, but there's a part of me that thinks Bama will find a way to win this game.
    It's going to be a barn burner, fo sho!
    So I have a BCS Question.
    Right now the BCS Standings are -
    1. Alabama 12-0 (.9713) Next Game vs Florida
    2. Oklahoma 11-1 (.9351) Next Game vs Missouri
    3. Texas 11-1 (.9223)
    4. Florida 11-1 (.8851) Next Game vs Alabama
    Let's say Oklahoma takes care of Mizzou, and lets say Florida takes care of Alabama...Oklahoma moves to #1 in the BCS Standings at 12-1 with their new BCS Average, but would Florida at 12-1 rise above Texas at 11-1 for the #2 slot?
    What if it ended up #1 Oklahoma, #2 Texas?
    Texas got hosed, I mean they beat the Sooners in head to head competition.
    The BCS system is completely whacked.
