I drove down and looked at the ramp last Sunday, I saw four trucks with trailer in the lot and one had a pontoon trailer. I am not saying you can use it but someone was. But in your case you have to figure in that BOB factor.

Is it open, and can you ramp in a 20 foot pontoon there. If not, does anybody want to buy a 20 foot pontoon?

" BOB factor"
TRANSLATION:
1. Trailer goes in the water before the truck.
2. Launch the boat, not the truck.
3. To back down a ramp, one has to be sober enough to be able to drive in a straight line.
4. If all else fails, and truck insurance is paid up:
a. Release boat tie downs.
b. Put all fishing gear on boat.
c. Pull rig down the ramp truck first, stop 40 feet from the water.
d. Put truck in neutral, open door, step out.
e. Jump up on boat as it comes by.
f. Wait for truck to sink, and boat to float off.
g. When truck is deep enough to clear prop, start engine, go fishing.
h. 1 hour before return to ramp, call tow truck, then insurance company in that order.
i. After tow out, open truck doors, evacuate water, and check under seats for trapped shad.
j. Start truck, turn heater on, open windows.
k. Call insurance company again, this time to schedule truck into shop for remedial repairs, fluid changes.
l. Borrow yellow pages, and begine search for "out-of-State" replacement insurance company.
I was down there yesterday. Kinda shallow for a pontoon but doable if you are careful.
Burnside has plenty of water left but Waitsboro is getting pretty low.
