Kincaid Lake

Has anybody fished Kincaid in the last week or so......Was wondering if it has ice on it or not...Would rather fish Stoner but it may stay frozen the rest of the winter.

Had my normal fishing partner go to stoner yesterday just to check things out, he said that he walked halfway across the creek at Ikes before the ice even started to crack and groan....we may be SOL for stoner for a while bud.

I'm hoping the weather patern this week gets rid of it but I suspect whatever it melts will freeze right back with the next cold snap.....I guess we might just hafta enjoy the fireplace the rest of the winter......Maybe we will get a big enough storm to raise it enough to break the ice and wash it out.....

Stoner should get washed out today, with the expected rain. Was just on the creek and very slushy to semi solid.

I stopped by frymans today and it looks to be ice free...I hope to get up there in the next couple days.....May go tomorrow but I'm not the eskimo I use to be so depends on what the weather guy in the mornin says....Looks like the weather is gona be a little better than it has been.
