On Tuesday night the nineth of December Joe and trish sloan of hart county were in a wreck, a van verses a semi tractor. The weather was truely terrible that night and Joe was turning out on an intersection, it is not clear what all happened and who was at fault. In one way they were lucky that the roads were slick otherwise the van would have most likely rolled instead of sliding. Heres the rub, as we know it Joe was driving his wife and 2 grandchildren were in the back when the truck Tboned them Joe recieved a god auwful set of injury's his hip was crushed as well as his pelvis at least one bone in his leg his lower left arm both bones were broken he also had serveral ribs broken, one peircing his lung. With some unbelieveable will power he got out of the van and made it around to get his wife and the children out of the vehicle before he colapsed. they had to drive him from glasgow to louisville due to bad weather and they would not risk the stat flight. His wife is here in Glasgow at the hospital, and God graced the children and they only had some scapes. There is much more to their problems but the family has not had a chance to speak to everyone and out respect for that I will not go into it. I can tell you that joe fished Barren and nolin just about everyday there was a chance, He would take you to his honey holes and help anyone on the lake that needed it. He and this family are truely good folks and with the Holidays this is a great blow. so please join me and send up some prayers when you read this You all have stood by my family many times when prayers were ask for and I believe that is one of the reasons I am still here. I know this is a long post but they need any and all help so ask God to watch over them and all of us this holiday season.
