My buddy Cliff's mom stepped outside this afternoon to get the mail and she fell on the ice and hit her head. She hit so hard that she does not even remember driving herself to the hospital in Winchester. My buddy Cliff had a terrible time in getting from Lex to Winchester due to the interstate being closed plus Todd's Road and Richmond road were backed up due to wrecks and other weather related problems. The hospital in Winchester then lost power and they could not get a Cat Scan done and finally they power was restored and they did the scan. It took Cliff almost 3 hours to get to the hospital, normally a 30 minute drive, and I am awaiting any word on how she is doing. Just asking for a few prayers for her recovery. I never seen a Mother and Son love each other so much as does my buddy Hens and his mom and I only hope all is ok with her. My mom and Cliff's mom are best friends as well and luckily my mom lives close enough that she went to the hospital to stay with her until Cliff arrived.

It was slick for awhile today, no doubt about it...and the traffic was a mess.

Prayers sent for a full and speedy recovery.... Yep it was one big Nasty day and I decided to stay inside. I had the ( YOUNG ) boys go get my paper and mail for me...No since in the old man slipping and falling on the ice covered driveway....Them young'uns bones heal a lot faster than these old bones do....lol
