    DHL/47.5 rising/How to post a picture or a link

    Fished 12-25-08 for a few and caught 4 Small mouth off one spot all under but real close, one of the fish, had a piece of line about 4 inches and the entire hook except the point, protruding out the anal hole...... Which I took a picture of to post on here but not sure how to do that if possible

    the fish was as strong and healthy looking and was fun to catch ...

    the point being.......... if its deep inside the fish and you cut the line its a good chance it will fight again, we catch a number of fish in different stages of hooks inside them and I contribute it to the care it was given when the fish was hooked, somebody knew how to give it a chance........Yet to see a hook partially dissolved but perhaps that takes place too.

    If you can walk me through a way to post a pic or link id like to know thanks

    Rick;
    The best way i have found to do it is, first upload your picture(s) to a photo storage website. I use Photobucket .(photobucket.com). When you post your pic there each pic has a link, copy that link and paste it to your post on the board here. Once you get the hang of using photobucket, its fun, you can make albums and send the link to anyone for viewing. It tool me a while to figure it out, but I'm thick-headed !
    Good luck!

    See if this one works, it is a pic of the Willow Grove School foundation when the water was low.

    Looks like you figured it out Rick.
    That looks like a fairly large hook in that fish, seen that b4.

    Rick, just curious, but did you clip as much of the hook off as possible or leave as-is? I would have been tempted to remove as much as possible but don't know if thats a good thing or not for the fish. Seems like that hook, as shown in the picture, would be a brush-grabbing problem for that fish. Like some input in case I come across the same thing in the future.

    minnow fishing cumberland a buddy of mine caught a fish that swallowed the hook....he cut his line as close to the hook as possible and turned her back....about 30 minutes later working down the same stretch of bank i caught the fish again....hook had already started to move down her gullet but she didn't mind feeding again....the fish had a deformed spot on her lip so we knew it was exactly the same fish
