03 225HPDI good or bad???

found a used boat to buy and it has a 03 HPDI.
What is the good and bad from you guys that have one?
How many hours would be normal for an 03?

any input will help me decide what to do.
I have a 98 200vmax and love it,but its not HPDI

you will hear a lot more good about the yamaha hpdi engines than bad.i own a merc 175 efi and like it very much.but i would not hesitate one minute to go to the yamaha hpdi.you can go to bass boat central.com and post this question on their yamaha engine site and you will get several replies back.good luck
