barkley donaldson creek bluegill redear help??

i left a post on here the other day about fishing donaldson creek at barkley for crappie but i forgot to ask about bluegill and redear. i'm thinking about heading down there around mid may to try bluegill and redear fishing. i will be staying around donaldson creek and would like to try in that area. any info on catching some nice bluegill and redear there or anywhere else close on the lake will be appreciated. thanks in advance for any help!!!!

For bluegill and redear just target those steak beds and weed edges back in the coves. My favorite bait is a pop-eye and millworm.

yeah also a small feather tail jig will work well
