I have a friend in Lou that works on marine motors on the off season. He's pretty good. If you want his name, just let me know. I'll set it up.

I've got a buddy having some problems with his lower unit on a 150 Johnson. He asked me to post about a good place to have it looked at around Louisville.
Any suggestions? Thanks...

PM sent.
Performance marine on Poplar Level Rd. is where I would go.
I'm pretty sure that Performance marine on Poplar Level Rd. is closed for a few days.
I believe it's R & J Marine close to the Gene Snyder Heading North on Preston Hwy. First light past Meijer's, turn left and it's on the left before the next light.
That's J and R,that Mills is talking about. It is on the corner of South Park Rd. and Blue Lick rd. If you want to spend a bunch of money and don't like friendly people, then I would definitely reccomend them!
Tony Reynolds in Shepherdsville-----he has repaired or replaced my lower unit too many times. Not his fault---mine---LOL!

He's the best as far as I am considered!
I agree with Reynolds Marine in Shepherdsville. Wait and go see him at the boat show. They usually have a booth setup and their mechanics are rebuilding engines on site. I would think they offer some type of "Boat Show"special on new repairs. Good luck.
I agree with Mark. Reynolds is great and they do good maintenance as well.
