Sounds like you had a decent day on the Big C to me, regardless of what you used. Do you think you would've done better using a hair jig, curly tail or something else besides the F-N-F?
Where'd ya'll put in at?

Still learning about the Float-n-Fly, but went to Lake Cumberland this past Friday with my pops. We started out good boating a 3lb smallie within the first 20 minutes. We then went awhile with nothing trying to narrow down a pattern. Finally we tried cuts inside of cuts off of the main creek. There we boated three more smallies, a 2.04, a 3.06, and a 3.11. This was by far our best trip on the Float-n-Fly. The water temps around the state were 44-45. To me the hardest part of the Float-n-Fly is to get in my head that 5 or 6 fish in a day is pretty good!!!!!

We went down the Float-n-Fly in mind to try to learn it. We may have down better with other things , but who knows. We put in at the state dock.
