Better to be safe than sorry.![]()

I got good laugh yesterday from a true story. A guy my wife works with told her about seeing the cops at his neighbor's house the evening before. Very nice, quiet, and unassuming people. Domestic violence? Who woulda thunk it? Then he sees the cops escort a guy out of the house, stumbling along with his arms full of hoses and tubes. Turns out the guy was a Kirby vacuum cleaner salesman that had been there almost 4 hours. The neighbors resorted to calling Bowling Green's finest because they couldn't get rid of the guy!
I find that hilarious.
What's even funnier is 2 units and 4 cops came up to corral the dangerously pushy salesman. It's a slow night when 4 patrolman show up to get some of that action.
You can't make this stuff up folks.

Must have been a really sucky night all around.
Had one come to my door and actually told me that if I let him give an example of the Carpet Cleaning device that comes with the Kirby Vacuum. He would receive $ 30.00 from his Company as part of his pay income. So I thought what the heck I needed a room cleaned anyway. So I let the guy clean my carpet and he got the $ 30.00 from Kirby. We both came out a winner and he thanked me and left.
Times are hard you gots to give your best sales pitch
Lol,i sold kirbys for about a month when i was 18.Our sales manager told us that if we left the house without hearing at least 100 no's we were fired. He wanted us to get kicked out before we gave up.Needless to say thats not how i like to operate.I stayed the month because it was guaranteed 300.00 a week while in training. Was alot of loot to me at the time. Not my gig though.
