They were there for us, where are we?

A few facts about vets.this isn't including later iraqi vets. There are 7700 VA beds available. There are about 196000 eligible vets who might or might not need these services.Homeless about 23% or close to 600000 vets can be considered homeless. The facts on disabled vets isn't that great. Then consider care givers, andit makes you wonder sometimes why they do it.the grandson finally got out of iraq, he re-upped for a two yr tour in japan.

ya know i wonder this sometimes too and best that i can figure out is for the most part the people of our country take everything for granite... because in your era u had to earn everything and in my parents era they had to earn everything adn dont take stuff for granite... but for the most part everyone wants better for their children and for them to have more than they did.... i sometimes catch myself telling my mom or dad dont worry about its ok and then i give some BS reason.... i dont take alot of things for granite besides that we will have to pay taxes and die... and i respect what soldiers do for us and our freedoms.... i also believe that people think if they ignore somethign it will eventually go away... and thats a sad way to live too....
