    Fishing kentucky tomorrow,where's the big'ens

My son and I have been on Kentucky lake for 2 day's, Our 1st time here. We caught 55 fish thursday but the biggest was probably around 2 1/2 lbs, crappie fished today in johnathan and had 21 keeper's and another 15 that was short, had some that were pretty nice, a few about 14 to 15 in.
we would appreciate any help on where the bigger fish (bass)might be since the cold front rolled in, have already fished sugar, Vicker's, Ledbetter and a little in johnathan this afternoon. My son want's to catch one of the hog's we here so much about!
Don't what to know your honey's but just an idea about area(back of creek's, main point's or channel's)

    Thank's David

Get on some deep channel banks and points with the channel nearby. Try jigs/tubes/plastic crawfish. Try a bank or point where you have 18' to 20' of water and are 1/2 to 3/4 cast from the bank.

Right now they should be at the mouths of the creeks to about halfway back. If it is sunny try a spinnerbait shallow(3/8oz to 1/2 oz) or slow roll it off of deep points(1/2 oz to 3/4 oz). Might even try a rattle trap shallow

This is what has worked for me. Keep moving until you find them. Be patient you will find them. Give each spot about 30 to 45 minutes.

In Ledbetter, try the deep point about halfway back on the right where the creek splits. Might also try the left bank in Ledbetter about halfway back. Might try Andersen creek to the south of Ledbetter.

Thank's for the info JimDi, We crappie fished yesterday morning till around 2:30 then went to the start of Johnathan and Sugar and fished the 1st and 2nd point's and deeper bank's picked up a few small fish but nothing with any size. I'm going to try to get back down in a couple of week's and try it again, the crappie are starting to turn on and I would like to put some more in the freezer. We ended with about 75 bass and 48 keeper crappie in the 3 day's we were there, I had a good time with my son on his spring break and caught fish it doesn't get better than that.
    Thank's David
