Went to Rough Saturday morning. Man was it ever cold. I think the cold front the night before hurt us. Weput in at Axtel and went up in George's Branch. Boats were lined up looking for places to fish. We probably went back to far and didnt find any water deeper that about 4'. We thre crankbaits and spinnerbaits mostly with no luck. Water temp was 54 and heavy stained. Did talk to a couple differant boaters who were working there way back that direction who had caught several bass. The water was clearer towards the ramp. I just never seem to do well this early in the spring but definately gonna keep trying.
