    Weather effects on K-Lake

    Guys-
Still heading out to K-Lake on Tues and Wed. What do you all think this recent weather will do the bass and crappies?

    Re: Weather effects on K-Lake

It seems that every time I headed down that way, especially this time of the year, I am constantly fighting the weather. It will most likely have a negative impact, may cause them to scatter out. I usually just go and have the best time I possibly can because it sure beats sitting at home. I know for sure that if I do go, then I at least stand a great chance of catching some slabs. And if I stay at home, then I know for sure that I will have no chance of catching anything sitting on the couch. I have a friend who won't go unless the weather is perfect and needless to say he sits at home quite a bit of the time. Maybe some of the locals can give you a decent report, but they tend to be tight-lipped.
