Wow this guy sure has people talking huh? He has done one thing for sure and that's put UK on every basketball fans mind. Man I hope the naysayers are wrong about what he might bring here...
I watched alot of Coach Cals interview today and he sure is a change from Billy G.!!
He got me excited about UK ball and I'm not a diehard fan! Don't get me wrong I like them and enjoy watching them but never really got bit with the Big Blue Nation Bug. Who knows watching him build a program the right way and prove people wrong could sway me?
I know one thing for sure the games against Pitino are going to be Prime Time t.v.!

The guy can win Don, no doubt. He also is a monster recruiter he will bring the five star guys, I don't know what he says to them but he sure get's them to play for him. Hey let the games begin I'm ready now, I'm already in withdrawls, looking forward to next year. But hey I gotta alot of fish to catch between now and then.

Two things the man can do is recruit and coach. He will definitely win at UK. He takes some chances on players with questionable character, but his guys will run through a brick wall for him. It remains to be seen if he can do it the right way, but we will see. One thing about it, this rivalry will not be taking a back seat to Carolina/Duke anytime soon.

Forde = Douchebag after reading that article...I had never really minded Forde that much prior to this one, but man...he was a condescending ass in this article.

I've drank the kool-aid and am sold on Coach Cal after his presser today. What a salesman, what a superstar with the media...the dude gets what Kentucky Basketball is about. (Or really did his homework and put on an oscar winning performance.)

I can't believe the difference between Cal and Billy G. It's like going from a $15 Shakespere Wal-Mart baitcaster to Shimano's highest end piece at $500+...silky smooth, high performing, fast, and hopefully not prone to backlash. LOL

Hey Brian we got something in common brother. I can't stand Forde or Bozich. They are the two main reasons I quit and won't buy a Liberal Journal newspaper. I've read articles when they dogged their home school like a rented mule. Plus Forde thinks he's God's gift anyway, arrogant jerk.

Good luck with your new coach, and ole Tim is right the rivalry in the Bluegrass just got re-energised bigtime!
