Well as you all probably know by now i headed down to dale hollow all of next weekfor a week long fishing trip but my question is, has anyone personally caught bass on topwater this early or has anyone heard of anyone catching bass on topwater. Now i know its still a little early but i am just being curious.

A few years ago while fishing ken lake the 3rd week of april, my buddy caught a 7 pd lm on a zara spook. No one else was throwing topwater but him???

a lot of guys will start throwing top water when the water hits 55 degrees.

Don't get discouraged about the lack of Dale info - this has been an extremely tough year for Dale, most folks just aren't catching them like normal along with several big tournaments going on.

no doubt it you may be able to hit them on topwater. my buddy was blown up on a buzzbait last weekend.

Thanks guys.... Yeah dale has been tough and peopl just aren't giving up info about catching them but you know what i cant blame them really cause if they can find out what their biting on why share cause someone could take their spot in a tourney.
