Northcentral ky lake
What is the lake (I guess it's a lake, it could be a pond) that you can see on your right as your traveling I-75 North from Georgetown to Cincinnati? It's maybe halfway between Georgetown and Florence. I've passed by it many times and always thought it looked really pretty with several houses and boat docks. Any good fish come out of it? Just letting my mind wander while the snow is flying outside my office window!

Re: Northcentral ky lake
Corinth lake is correct. Fished it once about this time last year. Caught several small Bass then went Crappie fishing of all things only because another couple had caught a couple by "accident" on rooster tails and the guy tells me that he and his brother planted several brush piles in this one cove and his brother owned the lake record off one of them. They left, I marked all 4 of them with bouys and brought home my share and then some. They were very TASTY. Caught them off a 1/16 oz jig head tipped with a Bass assassin minnow grub. This same guy said the Bass Fishing did not heat up until May for what it is worth. Trolling motor only, typical flat farmland type lake, docks are the main cover and except for some fence lines and manmade brush piles I never graphed much of anything else for cover.

Used to be monster red ears in there too but not as many as used to be. just remember Possession or use of shad for bait is prohibited on this lake and they do strickly enforce it from what I have been told. Believe this is one of the lakes they "test" stocked blue cats in too..

Re: Northcentral ky lake
It sounds like Corinth Lake. I have never fished it, but if it is like the rest of the small lake around this area it is bowl shaped on the bottom. Very little contour breaks; grass, docks, weedlines, manmade brushpiles will be your main structure. Shellcrackers - hybryd gills and crappie have all been abundant acording to KY Game & Fish.
Good Luck
