pond fishing today

caught a few at the pond today, caught 2 fish over 2lbs, one on a fluke and one on a spinner bait, caught 2 others on a spinnerbait, under 2lbs, caught a bunch of crappie and blue gill on wax worms and crappie nibbles, overall a fun day of fishing, fish for about 2 hours, been 3 times this week, caught fish everytime on spinnerbaits, rattle traps, and flukes, fun day, figured id share it with yall....

crappie nibbles are little dough balls pretty much, Berkley makes them, there in little jars at about any fishing store, and thanks, i love to fish in ponds, especially a pond that hasnt been fished in 20 years, just taken car eof

was the crappie good size........would love to find some slads i use cappie magnets alot thats a good bait

Good 'Ol pond fishing! Ya just can't beat it! Love fishing a pond for the first time that hasn't been fished in years. You never know what you are going to catch! I found this one pond a few years back, and when I say pond, I mean pratically a small lake. Second cast I caught a LM that went 9.3 lbs! Went back to the same pond the next day and caught one that went 8.9 lbs! It was awesome! I always go back to that pond when I'm looking for some gauranteed action! Fun Stuff!
