My wife turns the BIG 40 today and only because I was threatened with mental and physical harm plus the destruction of all of my tackle (small bait and tackle shop worth and the sinking of my boat), I went in this morning and decorated her office, put signs up all over her building, and now will post it here. I also told our 5 year old that when Man first carved the first wheel out of stone, his momma was there to photograph the event. He is 5 and of course has no clue as to what I am talking about but I got a smack on the arm. I figure the Divorce papers will be here around 2pm and then I can have more time to fish. Sometimes the end result is worth the pain and suffering one must endure.

That's funny, Elwood. You are treading on slippery ground for sure. I am still alive and will give you a call soon. Finally got out to fish Herrington yesterday. Caught a few 8 to 10 inch white males, but the last rain and cold temps put a hold on the bite and with this rain, it may be a week before things settle back down.

Don't feel too bad guy.

Last year on her birthday I passed on these words of kindness to my wife:
a. Your not 49 Honey......you are 25 years old with 24 years experience.
b. Things grow "fine" with time like "fine wine". Of course, anything containing milk tends to sour.
c. Hey, be grateful your age is 49, and not your waist.......yet.
d. As we get older and our eyesight continues to fade, you still look just as good to me as the day I met you. Remember.....your were white washing a picket fence in your bib overalls. Hey.....you look at least that good now.

Took me almost a week to find my trolling motor.......never did find my boat anchor.

Next year, I'm going fishing the night before, and arranging to have flowers delivered while I'm gone. Figure the flowers are cheaper than a new and good boat anchor.
