Does anybody know what kinda shape the lake is in up around the bangor or poppin rock areas?

My buddy took my boat down there last weekend and fished for 2 days without a single bite, he tried everything he said. He did say a couple of people did catch some but it wasnt much

Thanks Bob.......I want to go but don't seem to be able to get much info for some reason.....i guess there aren't many fellas from the board fishin there or the fish aren't cooperating.....haven't been there in 10 years or so but I have had some good trips there in the springtime over the years.

I put in at Bangor Saturday. Water was stained to muddy and around 52-54F. Muddy water from the Friday rains was coming in from both the north fork and the main branch of the river and had moved 1/2 a mile or so down the river while I was there so the entire river is likely muddy right now. Water level Sunday was alittle over summer pool. hope this helps
