Was at Nolin Lake headwaters yesterday. Water temp 58.3. Still cool for this time of year. Water was murky green color, good flow, visibility about 8 inches or so. Looked perfect for white bass to me. A few white bass are being caught. No huge stringers. Just 4 to 7 for so. Fish I caught did not have many eggs/milt. Looked spawned out. The spawners may be farther upstream. Don't know for sure. Current areas hard to get to by foot because of downed trees etc. Not sure about trees across the river either and how that would effect boats in the heavy current areas. Haven't heard many reports of walleye this year. Heard someone got a few slow trolling. Probably with nightcrawlers.
