I was fishing at dewey lake on tuesday and saw that there has been some grass carp released. How many did they let go? And will this help with the grass?

Dewey has so much grass if they want grass carp to help they better have released alot of e'm. Dewey is my main lake that I fish. there are fish on every single Lay down tree, flip jigs/plastics, there's always fish in the grass I like to flip creature plastics in the grass, topwater when its on will be awesome on top of the grass. I prefer fishing UP the lake, where it turns into a snakey, winding, meandering river like, there are several creeks that are usually stacked, if you fish areas on the main lake that are more rock than grass or mud banks throw a spring craw colored Bandit. also in the grass white spinner baits are killer and they seem to like the "BIG" spinnerbaits opposed to the smaller ones. if you go up the lake you will find a narrow channel with grass covered flats on the sides of the channel, this is prime, also if you head up where it get's shallow in the creeks you will find bedding bass. I compare dewey to Florida type lakes with regard to the Hydrilla mats.

Thanks for the info MagikSmallie. I really appreciate it. Never been on the lake, but gonna be in town for a graduation and figured since I was staying out at Jenny Wiley I would pull the boat down and do some fishing. If you are out that weekend and you see an older model, navy blue and silver Stratos 285 Pro XL, stop by and say hello.
I'll be fishing it this weekend (may 2nd and 3rd), I'll post back and let you all know whats goin on.
that was the best breakdown ive read in a long time. heck, i will probably copy that as i am only about an 1hr 45min from the lake. great detail man.
