Lake Cumberland Bass Fishing

Spring is here on Lake C! water temps yesterday 66-70. fishing is GREAT! have had 20 plus fish days over the last week - generally 6-8 keepers out of this. water has been generally clear but with the current storms and rain i would expect mild stain along the shorelines for the next week or so. More details to follow and pictures when i get my camera back. Now is a great time to get to the lake and catch some fish!

What area of the lake are you fishing? The river, upper, midlake, lower, creeks, mainlake.

You are doing better than most right now. Alot of smallmouth bedding right now. Interested also in what end of the lake you are fishing and are you on a primarily a Spot and largemouth bite?

earlier in week - midlake. last part of this week - upper end. fish are biting all over the lake right now from reports from other local anglers.

earlier in week mainly smallmouth but last 2 outings - largemouth. have only caught 2-3 spots in about 5 trips over last 2 weeks. pictures will follow when i get my camera back. have been catching several nice smallies with keeper largemouth but no big green fish (yet). have seen some 5-7# largemouths though (encouraging for this lake!)

I bet we caught 30+fish today with 11-12 keepers,biggest was a smallie that was prolly 4 1/2

thats a good day! only took 19# to win BFL today on Cumberland. massive rains headed our way so if you are going out, be safe.

yea we fished it,had an awesome day...i ended up with 8.6llbs and my boater had 9 something...had alot of fish just couldnt get alot of those bigger bites
