KY/Barkley vs. Guntersville??

The ice storms back in the winter have killed my campground reservations for Barkley in April and May of this year I'm thinking of fishing Guntersville Lake instead in late May.

Does anyone know Guntersville well enough to give me comparision to Barkley/Kentucky. Size of fish, cover, water clarity comparisions will be a big help.

I don't always do great at Ky/Barkley but I always manage to catch enough to enjoy myself. I'd hate to strike out at Guntersville.

never been to guntersville but any of the tva lakes are excellent. Although i don't know how it can get any better than kentucky lake right now, depending on where you live, i'd shoot for ken lake. You could fish it the whole summer and still not touch 75% of that massive lake.
