Bass Fished Dogwood 5-15

Fished Dogwood lake this morning.. tried a senco, and topwater over weedbeds.. nothing.. finally caught a couple fishing texas rig worm on the edge of weedbed by deeper water... best i can tell the bass are still hanging around the first drop off around 8 - 10 ft down. i think these cool nights and all the rain we've had is keeping the shallows cooled down. weather is supposed to be sunny and clear for next week.. that should make it stabilize out more..

I seen several huge females crusing close to bank in real shallow water today.

UPDATE 5-20 - fished Dogwood this morning. surface water temp. 69.. water has a green tint to it.. fishing still slow.. i'm sure it will pick up really soon.

are the bass on bed yet. and if so does that mean the bite slows tremendously or what?

I'd say the bass are done bedding.
