This weekend's tragic losses should remind us to wear our life vests and be as safe as possible. An automatic pfd costs around 100.00 bucks, is very comfortable, and is cheaper than a funeral. My prayers go out for the families of the victims on KY waters this weekend.

Amen to that. There is something we can all learn from tragedy. Too bad people have to lose their lives before we make the effort to make our situations safer.

I never understood how people that are around boats could not do something so simple as wear a life jacket and use a kill switch. I think it is that ole mentality of it will never happen too me. I always preached to my kids that a decision you make that takes seconds can change your life forever. Please Be Safe!

i honestly seen someone at the lake last year that had a life jacket on their dog and they had about a 3 year old youngun running around on their boat without a life vest... but the dog had one...... some people just dont understand the seriousness of the water.....
