According to basszone both pros had been put in the penalty box over a rule infraction that didn,t involve fishing they could either sit at the dock for the hour or go to the lock and lock thru and sit out side the lock what is up with that.
did it say what they did. i have never herd of this before.
All they said was the infraction was not fishing related but this is the 1st. time I have heard this being done I would say bass will explain there actions but who knows.
ne one heard ne thing new on this i cant find ne thing
I read on another site that a lot of guys were pissed off because he cut to the front of the line in the locks fri and sat.
nope he did not stop for a marshall that was thrown out of Marty Stones boat...go to bassfan and read all about it....
The guy that threw the marshal out is the one that filed the complaint, right? Talk about sour grapes! Common sense tells you that the fewer boats and spinning props in the area when someone is in the water the better, as long as the person is getting proper assistance. So everyone is suppose to hold up because this guy threw someone? Sounds nuts to me...
Two boats on the scene seems like plenty to me. Slow down, make sure the situation is covered, and move on so as to not make matters worse on a river..
WOW , did marty hit a stump or just lose control? There was more than enough there the lock rumor made more sense than bass decision.DUMB
i read that the marshall got throwen out of derek remitz boat after he hit a log and lost his lower unit
Biffle talks about all this on bassfan.com
I have to say I think Trip was wrong on this call. I was an observer for Alton Jones in the 1999 Classic and have been around him other times and there is no way he would do anything but help if he thought it was needed. Not sure why either got in trouble when all they could have done was add to the congestion.
I only read the thing once, and I'm not into the the BASS or FLW so I am not up on the names, but I think the guy you are talking about hit the log/stump the day before in a separate situation.
