C-land day/night report

Haven't fished c-land in a couple of years. How has the day and night bite been for largemouth/smallmouth? Thanks

Had a good night 2 weeks ago at night on smallmouth. Going again tonight. Football head jigs and spinnerbait was our best baits. Fished main lake around Indian creek down to the mouth of beaver and otter.

We caught some good fish but had to work for them. All smallies. My best luck came on a blk and chart football jig. Caught some on a spinnerbait but they would not jump all over it. We fished from 8 to about 5:30a.m. We got lucky and dodged storms all night. I was just glad to be out fishing. I am going to try to get out there again soon. There is nothing like catching smallmouth under the stars.

used black and grey minature umbrella rig last two outings and caught small mouth and large mouth. Nice sizes. Main lake trolled with motor 30 foot off the bank

Caught a few last night but it was a slow bite. Nothing big just small fish. Mostly spots
