Caught one yesterday at a golf course pond that I fish regularly, using a Blue and Silver rattle trap and an orange belly that I found stuck in a tree last Saturday down at Rough River. What ***** is that the camera phone on my Black Berry quit working sometime ago and I wasn't able to take a picture. However I have plenty of pictures on my myspace and facebook site of a few 5LBers and even a 6LB BASS caught out of that same pond. There are some nice ones in there just have to get them to bite. It's only about 3-4 foot deep and the water color is very muddy always.

nice fish for sure
I have caught some real nice bass over the years on a lot of golf course. It is crazy how many nice bass are in them.
Yeah like I said wish I could have taken a pic to show you guys like I said I have several on my myspace and facebook pages from that Golf Course. Went up there again Thursday evening think I had one on but got excited and set the hook to hard and yanked it out of the fishes mouth. I just like fishing there because not a whole lot of people go up there and fish and it's like 5 minutes from my house. It's something to do in the evening time.
Golf course bass. Um congrats.
Hey CrankBaitKilla pay no attention to anyone who childishly feels the need to denigrate your nice catch. Way to go.
I pay no attention to some of the children who post on hereBy the way here are some pics off my myspace page of BASS that were caught up there at that "umm" Golf course.
Of Course there is this 6LBer

I live on a golf course and have three lakes within 200 yards of my back door and fish them 3-4 nights a week and do great. Most times I never see anyone except maybe some later golfers trying to beat the dark. Lakes are loaded and several more are in the back that were old lakes part of the original farm. Nice bass and tons of bluegill. Weekends I load the boat and head to the lakes but during the week nothing like eating dinner and walk out the back door and wet a line. Frog gigging was spectacular this year.
Yeah I hear ya, wish I had some ponds near my backyard my g/f would prolly never see me...LoL I live fishing small ponds it can be a lot of fun, in fact once it cools off a little this evening my buddy and I are suppose to head up there to the golf course again. I do the same as you fish not far from the house through the week and on the weekends when I am able my dad and I usually load my boat up and go out somewhere.
After reading this thread yesterday, I went out to the golf course ponds where I live last night and had a great evening. 1 fish over 5 lb, 2 over 4, and 7 other keeper size all in about an hour and a half. Fished until about 20 minutes after dark. Caught all the fish on a Pop R, about 3' off the bank, and all before it got dark. Had a ball. Met a guy who lives there who was fishing also and he showed me a pic of an 8.5 lb he caught last week in a different lake there.
