Help
Why do I have to keep pumping my bulb? Could it be going bad or do have an air leak in my fuel line?

Re: Help
ron, there's a check valve in the bulb i believe that wears out and stops sealing off. the result is gas begins to backflow into the tank at rest. i'd buy a new primer bulb and complete fuel line. don't bother with the cheap ones at walmart. i'd go to stokely's. ask for randy. he should get you in the right direction.
if that fixes it, you owe me a battery charger...

Re: Help
ron, also try this first, it's from the website posted below it. i rerouted my primer bulb the same way (sitting vertical) and it helps. or at least that's what i think...
"Shadoe,
Try this trick, point the Primer Bulb vertically. The check valve ball things inside sit better and seem to hold the gas back as they should with the bulbs pumped vertically. That would be arrow up, with the gas going upwards.
Give it a try and let me know. I've become a firm believer in this and was proven wrong by an old salt who knows outboards.
John"
