A heads up on two very fine guides...

I've been on two great trips this year with area guides.Saturday I fished with Jim Doom((270)362-0221) of "The Between the Rivers Guide Service".Jim is a soft spoken "river-man",he knows the rivers like the back of his hand.We fished below both Ky and Barkley dams.My partner out-fished me for the stripers and hybrids but I was able to catch some nice White bass.We booked a half day trip(6 hrs but by my count we fished about 7.5).Jim is a hard working guide who I'd fish with in a heart beat.The second guy I'd like to recommend is Thomas Moore of www.Appalachiananglingadventures.com.I fished with Tom early this month for Smallmouth bass in the N. Holston River near Mendota,Va(25 miles North of Bristol,Tn.).Tom is just back from his second tour of duty in Iraq.Tom is an accomplished fly-fisherman and loves trout.Like Jim he's a top notch guide and loves and knows his business.Tom offers float trips for $240.00(two persons,plus a deli style lunch provided).The fishing was great and the scenery was even better.Give these two guys a look,you won't be dissapointed.
