BubbaBass1 and I are headed to Nolin the 1st through the 5th. Due to idiots and the heat we'll most likely do all of our fishing at night and early early morning. Any advice as to what to throw or where to go would be greatly appreciated. A report from myself or BubbaBass1 will be sure to follow our trip.
I would try bluff walls where the creek runs in close to them. I always throw a dark 10" powerworm and do pretty well most of the time. Good luck, and let us know how you do.BubbaBass1 and I are headed to Nolin the 1st through the 5th. Thanks wishn, that sounds like one of the best ways to go about it this week. Any other tips from anyone???
Here are my best patterns:
1) Pearl flukes in the mornings around shallow cover or in the mouths of big coves watching for bass busting the top of the water
2) Blue/chrome rat-l-traps thrown around the standing timber
3) C-rig pumpkinseed/chartruse tail zoom lizard around docks, timber, or on points.
4) Shakey head power worms in red shad color around similar structure as the c-rig
5) 1/4 oz Booyah 4-blade spinner bait fished on points, bluffs, or gravel banks
I hope this helps. Be sure to write a report.
Thanks rudy for the input but i didnt see your post until i got back. I think your tips would have helped a lot. I guess I should have checked this thread before we left in the morning. I just finished my report. It's on a new thread though.
