Hey Onemorecast, here is some "fun fishing" for ya. I will be in Gatlinburg from July 10-14, fly fishing everyday. 800 miles of trout water at your fingertips, rattlesnakes, bears and wild trout. Planning on hitting the Middle Prong of the Little Pigeon at greenbriar, looking for Brookies at Cosby Creek and maybe hit Abrams creek or the Occunaluftee for big browns. Isonychia hatch has started and I am tying some up the next few days and will be armed and ready. Now if I can just survive the next week and a half all will be good.

Good luck Tim, looks like you'll have alittle more water to fish than I did last year when I was down there...dang drought...Chuck
Hey smuckey, didn't know your boy would be playing in the "hated" end of the county lol! Good luck to him and I will get up there and watch him play. As far as the snakes, they scare me worse than the bears because when I see a bear, it usually from quite a distance away.
I am looking forward to the trip.
Riverrat, my advice on the streams didn't pay off for you huh? I have fished there two or three times a year since 1998 and have still not figured these mountain trout out. But I will blame your bad luck on the drought and not the fact that you may have gotten bad advice lol!
No Tim, great advice. I found all the creeks you told me to look for...They just didn't have any water in them LOL... Greenbrier did have alittle but I had to go on the other side of the bridge to find any depth. And thanks again the senery was wonderful...ChuckHey smuckey, didn't know your boy would be playing in the "hated" end of the county lol! Good luck to him and I will get up there and watch him play.
