Dix River is FUN

I took my canoe up to the Dam on the DIX river today. 6 of us 3 canoes........

It is NOT the Cumberland River, but we caught lots of trout, and had some keepers.

Funny thing........I caught more browns on the DIX than I do at cumberland.

Most fish were caught on crankbaits, when you could fish them in the MOSSY GOOP that is there.

Other fish were caugth on a blue Fox number 1 or number 0 blue and silver spinner.

Great report, I haven't been up there yet this year. What did the KY river look like? Were they generating a bunch of water on the Dix?

They were not generating, and the KY looked like chocolate milk.

AND the dix was Chocolate Milk nearly 1 mile from the KY..........
